Dan Vetras Bio

Brandishing 25 years of experience in customer interaction management (CIM), Dan Vetras is Visible Technologies, Inc’s chief executive officer and president.

Born Daniel P. Vetras, the business leader graduated from Massachusetts’ American International College in Springfield. He then entered Lotus Development Corporation in 1985.

He left Lotus Development Corporation in 1992 to become head of consumer sales and channel marketing at Edmark Corporation. Under his watch, the software firm grew to 9,000 branches the world over.

In February 1997, IBM acquired the company but retained Vetras as consumer sales and channel marketing chief. Concurrently, he served as vice-president for sales and services at IntraNets.com.

Vetras stayed at IntraNets, which also goes by the name WebExOne, for a year. Captura Software, Inc then hired him as chief operating officer on April that year. He rose to the chief executive officer position in 1999.

Concur Technologies purchased Captura Software in 2002, prompting Dan Vetras to join Talisma Corporation, seller of CIM solutions. He also served as CEO in the said company, until its takeover by nGenera in 2008. In February 2009, he accepted his CEO position with Visible Technologies.

Dan Vetras has held board memberships over the years. Since 1999, he has been a board member at Captura Software. Likewise, he was a director for Traveling Software Inc between 1992 and 1993.
