Choose Your Website Cross-Links Wisely

Saturday, August 30th, 2008

It pays to be careful when you decide to link with a site. Choosing the wrong Website will diminish your credibility and could result in being penalized by the search engines. Sticking to relevant sites that you have personally reviewed is the recommended way of building your Website traffic and search engine ranking.

Everyone who has a Website and seeks to establish cross-links is solicited by a variety of sites, some good and some bad. It helps to establish the criteria for the sites with which you will consider linking before engaging in this activity. If your goal is to drive qualified traffic to your Website and to enhance your appeal to search engines, then you must be selective about the sites with which you exchange links.

Only trade links with complementary sites whose products or services are relevant to your offerings. A real estate site that cross-links to a casino site, for example, is not acting in the best interest of its visitors. It may even be penalized by search engines such as Google for attempting to build ranking with irrelevant cross-links. Ideally, the site linking to your Website should attract a clientele that would also be interested in what you offer. Thus, anyone who clicks on your link is pre-qualified and is more likely to purchase something from you.

Search engines have gotten smarter. They can distinguish between relevant links and those that represent “links for links sake,” and your site ranking will suffer consequently. Never, ever sign up for a link farm or seek links from irrelevant sites simply because they already have a high search engine ranking. Those failed strategies are now the kiss of death among leading search engines. It is best to only sign up with cross-linking services that allow you to be very selective in trading links.

It is better to have a small number of good cross-links than a large number of irrelevant links. Choose wisely and over time you will benefit from increased traffic that actually contributes to your revenues and organic search engine ranking.

Body Sharing Brain Transfer System

Friday, August 29th, 2008

Can one body share two brains worth of information, more than one identity? We know that there are folks with schizophrenia right? It is not that uncommon either in fact it is more than one in one hundred people. So if a human brain can contain more than one identity then can we insert one person’s brain information and download it into another; Memory, skills and knowledge? Sounds crazy right? Well, perhaps, yet lets think for a second, how powerful the human mind is and we know we only use a part of it. Some say less than 20-30% meaning there is plenty of space right?

Many might decry this concept as dastardly evil, yet think for a second, what if your husband or wife could not remain living and you would lose them forever. Why not download your spouse’s brain into your brain, so you could always be together. You would not be lonely and you could feel good, as you would be able to share your life with your significant other. Or in the case of a brilliant scientist they could download their brain into an up and coming fresh PhD student, so they could continue their work together.

Too bizarre to contemplate; too Science Fiction like, indeed but why not if it were possible, why not extend life from within another? It might take some getting use to, as you would be sharing your thoughts with another, but it could work. Currently scientists are working to record dreams and thoughts and transfer them to computer, but it may not be totally possible to do this. It may never be possible, but it maybe possible to transplant a human brain into a machine, which would continuously run by flowing blood and energy into it. It will be interesting to see the future unfold and the solutions, which are chosen to continue the human endeavor in our memories. Think on this in 2006.

California Home Equity Loans – Getting a Low Rate Online Quote

Friday, August 22nd, 2008

Home equity loans have several functional purposes. Those who apply for
these loans are generally in need of a large sum of money for an
expense. Because home equity loans are secured by a piece of property,
various lenders will approve these loan applications with ease. Moreover,
getting approved with bad credit is not a problem. If you are in the
market for a home equity loan, comparison shopping may save you money. Here
are a few tips for finding online quotes.

Who Benefits from a Home Equity Loan?

If you own a home, obtaining a home equity loans will make financing
large projects a little easier. True, many people are uncomfortable with
using their home as collateral for a loan. However, getting a personal
bank loan for debt consolidation or home improvements is practically
impossible without some sort of collateral. Individuals with excellent
credit may qualify for an unsecured loan. Yet, the interest rates on
these loans are very high.

Home equity loans have lower rates than most personal loans and credit
cards. Secondly, the terms are fixed. On average, most homeowners are
able to repay the loan within five to fifteen years.

Getting Online Quotes

If thinking about applying for a home equity loan, there are many
options available. Homeowners may select local lenders, current lenders, or
an online lender. Rushing the loan process is not advisable. Typically,
those who rush do not compare different loan rates and terms. Thus, the
odds of picking a bad lender or loan are much higher.

Some lenders operate home equity loan scams. Their sole intent is to
gain possession of your home. To avoid becoming a victim, it is important
to choose a reputable lender and shop around. It’s wise to obtain a
quote from your current mortgage lender. Because a good rapport has been
established, lenders may propose ideal rates and terms.

After obtaining a quote from existing lender, complete an online quote
form with a mortgage broker. There are two benefits to using a broker.
One, they do all the research by finding fitting lenders. Secondly,
brokers compile all lender quotes and remit them to you. Once receiving
quotes, homeowners are able to make a side-by-side comparison and select
the best home equity quote.

Buying A Home (Beginning Stages)

Thursday, August 21st, 2008

There are probably few things in life that are as exciting–or as nerve- racking–as the search for a house. All the good emotions and the bad emotions seem to converge when the house hunting begins. Don’t worry, this is a normal reaction, and is found in seasoned home buyers as well as those who are looking for their first home. One of the first decisions you need to make is whether you want to do your house hunting on your own, or by using an Agent. If you decide to go it on your own, you will be able to see (and buy) those houses that are For Sale by Owner (known as FSBO’s). Depending on your area and the overall market, this will be around 20% or so of the total homes available (the other 80% are the “listed” properties–being sold through an Agent. Those homes you can’t buy–or even see–on your own). Remember the agent selling the home represents the sellers best interest not yours. If you decide to use an agent, have your own. You certainly wouldn’t call upon the prosecuting attorney to represent you in your defense or answer your questions. Get to know your agent by familiarizing yourself with the way they work. Trust is an important factor. Ask questions.

Once the decision to buy a home has been made, take the time to prepare before you go on your home search. Yes, it is very tempting to rush out and actually look at houses, but to do so without full preparation can be both disastrous and expensive. You will find that “house hunting” is down on the list.

Get your financial affairs in order first! I can’t stress this enough–it will save you an enormous amount of time, aggravation and heartache.

Determine what your budget will comfortably allow and stick to it. Don’t spend yourself into a “house poor” situation.

Get preapproved for a mortgage. This will not only give you a clear idea of how much a lender will approve for you, it will make your home buying process a great deal easier (and save a lot of time later). Ask your Agent for lenders they work with and recommend. (There are a lot of lenders out here, not all created equal)

Get familiar with the different housing types available to narrow your search.

Determine your minimum requirements as well as any desired additional features–your needs and wants.

Take note of any items that you don’t want in a house.

Determine the desired location (schools, work, public transportation, etc.) Cleveland proper? Surrounding suburbs? (Lakewood,Parma,Euclid,North Olmsted?) More rural area? (Lorain,Geauga,Medina?)

Familiarize yourself with the mortgage process.

As you are looking, use a scorecard to compare homes. A scorecard is a great tool when it comes time for comparisons (and for remembering which home had which features!)

When you find something you like, make sure your Agent pulls recent comparables and researches the property. This way you know the true value and what an appropriate offer would be.

Maintain your perspective–and your cool! You may find an acceptable house on the 1st day–or the 50th. The important thing is to get the home that is best for you! Please post any questions or comments or simply contact me for more information.

Parenting and Politics

Thursday, August 21st, 2008

The Cycle of Violence is a very touchy subject for most people. There are those who sit in positions where they know the depth of the problem and they might even know what could be done in some cases. But can they actually do something about it?

Here are some of the problems.

1. Parents think it is their right to have children and raise them as their father and other earlier family members raised them. They do not want to admit they are control freaks or abusers of one form or another. They may even think their religious indoctrination is correct despite the fact that it does nothing to teach the joy and soulful potential of sex alongside the civil and moral responsibilities that are connected.

2. Politicians know that if they addressed the totality of the problem it would mean many children would be taken away from parents and there is no social network in place like the extended family or clan that would ensure the children get the proper character development while having their human potential creatively embraced or developed. In some countries politicians enjoy wielding perverse power over people and giving them ridiculous religious laws or ideas about virgins in heaven or the place of man versus woman. Arranged marriages are a form of prostitution and marriage itself needs to place the rights of children ahead of the rights of parents. All children become wards or citizens of the state and the costs or dangers associated with abuse are many.

3. In the ethical system that allows older people to force nave young people into wars or to work at things which are not productive we have a macro-social and soulful issue which is most egregious to say the least. There have been times when de-population makes sense and the whole planet can become threatened by rampant over-population so it makes sense to plan the parenting of children rather than allow de-population efforts to succeed. As mankind goes into space there will be a need for more people unless the robots take over. But sending poor examples of our species out to populate our galaxy is a most troubling issue for me.

4. Therapists are in danger of being sued if they say the victim is in need of therapy too. There are no intake questionnaires in schools or hospitals which might target certain at-risk children and class action suits against the government or its institutions could result if courts are not aware of the dangers of religious and ethnic mores and morays that actually generate abuse. Courts and therapists as well as teachers of proper training or education are not in agreement and the matter requires some kind of realization that we do indeed face a monstrous and real threat to our potential growth as a race or species.

5. Police forces and other powerful mundane jobs often attract people who are abusive or overly forceful. Fear and a lack of trust rather than healing and loving approaches are everywhere. We have seen growing awareness of the abuse of authority in churches in relation to pedophilia but that is only the tip of the iceberg.

Poor Credit Homeowner Loans – Meeting Your Loan Needs When You Have a Poor Credit Score

Saturday, August 16th, 2008

It is often perceived by many that a poor credit score would be a hinder in getting a large amount of loan. This could be true in case of unsecured loans but not in case of secured loans. If the security or collateral is of a large amount then the lender may not be hesitant in lending out a large amount of loan.
A homeowner loan is one such type of loan which is secured with home equity. Home equity is the figure that one would get by subtracting the loan amount from the market value of the home owned by the borrower.

How does the lender use the collateral during the repayment period?

The lender does not use the collateral in any way during the repayment period as long as the repayments are coming in time and the borrower does not default. As in case of any other secured loan the lender here has a legal claim on the home if the loan is not repaid. As long as the repayments are being made on time and the terms and conditions of the loan are being satisfied the borrower has the physical possession of the home. If the loan is not paid back fully then the lender has the option of taking the physical possession of the home.

The lender normally takes possession of the home in the extreme case and issues sufficient warnings before doing so. If we look at it from the lender’s point of view, there is no other way of recovering the loan amount than auction the home. The borrower should try his/her best and pay heed to the warnings of the lenders and make the repayments timely.

What makes homeowner loans attractive for a person with a poor credit score?

In case of homeowner loans credit history of the borrowers matter little as the lender always has the option of selling off the home and recoup the loan amount. It is for this very reason that these loans are easy to obtain for individuals of all credit levels.

As the loan amounts are backed by a security they have a lower interest rate than the unsecured loans. The only thing that the borrower must be careful about is that he/she should have sufficient home equity to back up the loan amount.
There is absolutely no restriction on how the borrower uses his/her homeowner loan.

The borrowers find these kinds of loans very good as it gives them a chance to take a large amount of loan at an attractive interest rate. Since the borrower’s credit rating plays some role in deciding the interest rate the interest rates could be a bit higher in case of people with a poor credit score.
How to get a good deal on the home owner loan?

The borrower should research as much as possible to know about the various loan options available in the market. The loan quotes from different lenders can be obtained online. A few borrowers can then be short listed on the basis of the loan rates. Then the final choice of the lender could be made on the basis of – the repayment amount, the repayment period, various fees applicable under different conditions and fixed/variable interest rate. The borrowers would do well to calculate the future value of all the payments that he/she makes in case of different loan quotes and then choose the one with the lowest future outflow.

A last word….

The borrowers should also consider the method of charging interest while deciding in favour of a loan quote. If the method is not mentioned in the terms of the loan the interest will be charged on the variable rate method. This rate keeps on fluctuating basing on the change in the bank base rate decided by the Bank of England, UK’s central bank. The borrower under the variable rate method has to pay according to the new interest rate.

The borrower can protect himself/herself from a rate change by opting for a rate lock. Rate lock is a method by which a borrower requests the loan provider to charge interest at a particular rate. Since there is a chance that the rates might come down also, the borrower should take the help of the experts while predicting the rate trends and then deciding on the rate lock.

The Difference Between Secured Loans and Unsecured Loans

Friday, August 15th, 2008

There are many reasons why people get loans. Perhaps they want to enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will never come their way again. Or perhaps they need to fix up the house to get it ready to sell. Or perhaps they need to make a financial decision to consolidate their debts in order to reduce their monthly payments and lengthen the term to pay back their loans. Whatever the reason many people are looking to loans to help them reach their financial goals.

There is nothing wrong with using loans to reach your financial goals. In fact, a loan can be an excellent tool to add to your financial portfolio because it can help you leverage your current position. But which loan is the right loan for you?

There are basically two kinds of loans. Unsecured loans and secured loans are the two kinds of loans that you have available.

Secured loans are loans in which you offer the lending institution some kind of guarantee that they will receive payment for the loan. The example of a guarantee might be some assets that you have, like your house or your car or stock certificates. Although you don’t have to turn them over to the lending institution in order to get the loan, having them in your possession assures the lending institution that if you are to default on your payment they would have something to seize and sell to recover their losses.

On the other hand, an unsecured loan is a loan in which you simply use your credit rating to help you borrow money from the lending institution. People who do not have assets or do not want to provide assets as a guarantee may prefer this type of loan as an alternative.

So which one is the better loan? While every case is different, you should consider what is important to you. For many people getting a good deal on a loan means getting a low interest rate, a high amount of available loan, and a long repayment period.

If that describes you then you probably want to go with a secured loan. Why? It’s simple. Lending institutions determine the amounts they’re willing to lend, the interest rates they will be lending at, and how soon they want the money back based on the amount of risk they are taking to give up the money. While a person with a good credit rating may not be a big risk, the risk is still greater than with the person who has some assets to back up the loan if they are unable to pay with money.

So it may be the right one for you. A secured loan is the right option for many people because it provides a greater amount of available lending cash, a lower interest rate, and a longer term to repay.

Disneyland – Entertainment at Disneyland

Thursday, August 14th, 2008

Disneyland always has something entertaining and hold special entertainment nightly during the peak season as well as weekend entertainment during the off-season. Disneyland usually saves special entertainment for occasions like the 4th of July and Christmas.

At least twice each night during the peak season and on weekends during the off-season Disneyland holds a show called Fantasmic.
It takes place on Tom Sawyer’s Island, and features many characters as well as music and fireworks. I would recommend getting tickets for this well in advance so you can get the best seats possible. Bear in mind that free seating is also available and is included in your Disneyland park admission price.

A show that should not be missed is the musical Snow White which is held in the Fantasyland Theater. If your a Snow White Fan I highly recommend it. Snow White is held several times throughout the day so reservations should not be necessary.

Disneyland holds a parade twice each day called Parade of Dreams which features large colorful floats holding the Disneyland Characters. The parade stops three times a day to do a choreographed show, and most of the Disney Characters are portrayed in the Parade of Dreams.

These are just a few of the shows that are available at Disneyland. Entertainment is always non stop and everyday usually calls for something new. One entertainment that you know will always be at Disneyland And that is their firework shows. The fireworks take place each night just before the park closes for the evening.

If the fireworks are too late for you there is a fairly good chance you will see them from a hotel window or balcony. The absolute best spot for the greatest effect is right in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. I absolutely recommend the fireworks on Fourth of July as they are like no other I have ever seen, they are out of this world.

If you are looking for more information or would like to find something specific about the entertainment at Disneyland, visit
the website, ask the travel agent you booked with or even call the park as they are always willing to offer assistance. It is a good idea to ask about special events during specific months, so you can determine which one is more to your liking and will suit your travel plans.

Although most the entertainment is provided free of charge and is part of your admission price it is important to make sure there isn’t a fee as some events do have special seating, or priority seating that requires a fee. I would check the website or call the park just to be sure.

Be Proactive: One Key to Business Success

Tuesday, August 12th, 2008

In doing your own business, many factors should be considered. You should consider the time, money, people and other resources that you have invested. Another principle that you should possess is the proper attitude in managing a business. You should develop a positive attitude in order for you to succeed. Your decision to take charge of your life is the seed of your success. One positive attitude that you should develop is the attitude of being proactive. In a simple way of saying it, taking charge is being proactive. Proactive came from two simple words pro meaning “for” and active meaning “to do something”. In other words, it simply means that you should do something.

Most of us would always focus on the things that we cannot take control of like: Will I reach the desired company goal? Will I reach my sales quota? Can I become an effective businessman? Can I get the attention of other people? or Will I be happy? These are the fruits of our lives that we keep focusing our attention on. But what is the idea of focusing on these kinds of things? These are intangible things that you cannot control. In fact it is very harmful for you to focus in these things. It often results in worry, fear, manipulation, and worse.

But instead of focusing your attention on these things, you should focus on the things that you can control. These are the right attitude, beliefs and commitments in doing a certain home based business job. By this it can help you use your emotional energy to move positively towards success. Being proactive does make a difference. Reactive people focus on the fruits but proactive person focus on the roots.

A person who reacts to things is the person who will eventually become a victim. But the person who is proactive anticipates the change and becomes the victor in his own battle. It is your choice if you would like to become a victim who reacts or to be a victor towards achieving your goals. You should be proactive in managing your own business. You should anticipate the change that will happen in the near future. Don’t just react to change, but you should create that change.
